The Nipple Diaper

The size of The Nipple Diaper is based on chest circumference at the nipple level, not cup size. So, XS/S is equivalent to a chest circumference of between 24 and 24 inches, M/L is equivalent to a chest circumference of between 34 and 44 inches, and L/XL is equivalent to a chest circumference of between 44 and 54 inches. Keep in mind that your chest circumference could increase greatly from pregnancy to after your milk comes in. So, if you are on the higher end of a size, it may be wise to size up.

Technically speaking, The Nipple Diaper is not designed to lift, shape, or smooth. However, you could easily wear The Nipple Diaper out and about under a blousy or oversized sweatshirt or t-shirt. (Is a postpartum mom really wearing anything other than oversized sweatshirts or t-shirts?!)

In the technical sense, The Nipple Diaper does not work exactly like a nursing bra. However, the snaps were intentionally designed to make for easy access to breastfeed from one side while leaking into the other. Simply unsnap a few snaps and pull down the side you would like to feed from first.

The Nipple Diaper absorbs up to an ounce of breastmilk. That’s half of what your newborn baby will eat in one sitting!

One Nipple Diaper can absorb up to one ounce of breastmilk. We assume the average mom would be able to wear one or two Nipple Diapers overnight—changing every four to eight hours to ensure safe hygiene for mom and baby.
